What does it mean to participate INterview?

It might be about experience you have in the field,
about academic knowledge I find amazing,

The sooner the better. That being said, any time before the end of February 2019 is open. I recommend trying for the first time by the end of October. That way, if we want to chat more, there’s plenty of time to do so.
Location will depend on what feels best for comfort and aesthetic. Your place, my apartment, in a studio at OCAD (Toronto) or by distance (skype) are ideal. That being said, we can work together to find a space that is most suitable to what we want to do – including spaces owned by friends or spaces we can rent.
Potential benefits of participating in the project are feeling proud, empowered, knowledgeable and competent. You might feel like you’ve contributed to something important. You might learn about yourself. Your ability to communicate might grow.
You will be credited for your contributions in the form of citations + credits in the project.
There’s always risk to participating in a collaborative project. You might worry about your affiliation with a porn project. You might not like the sound of your voice. You might rethink something you said. You might find yourself with a vulnerability hangover.
There is no shame in feeling like this isn't right for you.
Your participation in this project is not confidential. As we are working with moving image, audio, expertize and lived experience, there is potential for your person to be identified. Furthermore, it would be ideal to cite you when using your interview content in the project.
That being said, I can use a pseudonym of your choice.
Your participation is yours to decide.
It's important that you feel a FUCK YES! if you want to join the project.
Your participation is voluntary. You are in full control. If, at any point in the process (pre-, during-, post-interview) you change your mind, I will fully honor that. If you decide to withdraw from the project, I will send you your footage and erase it from my hard drive. For the purposes of my editing timeline, I ask that this ideally be done before November 23rd OR March 29th. That being said, withdrawal can happen any time after these dates.

Your feelings and safety matter to me. As the interview content will be so broad, emotional safety plans will vary. However, I will be excited to help you establish your boundaries, check in with you about consent through the interview and develop a post-interview comfort plan.
Where is the final project going?
If we’re lucky, the work will be shared at art shows, screenings and festivals worldwide! This will include pornography festivals. As it is a course assignment, a midterm version will be shown at OCAD University on November 30th and thefinal on (date TBD) of April 2019. You will be invited to all screenings of the project. The film will also be available on my website and Vimeo. Finally, there is a possibility of the film being added to PWYC feminist pornography sites. When any of these opportunities arise, you will be notified.
